| NO MORE SESSIONS |
Just a little note to let you know we will no more listen to the John Peel Sessions on BBC Radio 1. John was defeated by his own heart last week. I'm sure that angels are singing with him in the biggest sessions he had ever seen... In Heaven. |

| REUNION OR NOT? |
The "Produced by Trevor Horn, a concert for The Prince's Trust" taking place in Wembley Arena on November 11th will host the reunion gig for Propaganda. The german cult electropop act will perform in the original '85 line-up including Claudia Brücken, Suzanne Freytag, Michael Mertens and Ralf Dörper for the first time in 18 years. Other bands playing at the Prince's Trust concert are Pet Shop Boys, Simple Minds, Seal, ABC, Art Of Noise and so on. Man behind the fest is Trevor Horn, the man behind ZTT. Horn was also half of The Buggles duo ("Video Kills The Radio Star"), produced Malcolm McLaren, ABC and The Art Of Noise and was responsible for the sound of Frankie goes to Hollywood and lots more.
In the meantime, UK tabloid The Sun has reported that eighties electropop band Frankie Goes To Hollywood are to hold last minute auditions to find a singer to replace Holly Johnson who refused to play a tribute gig for their legendary producer Trevor Horn. The group split 17 years ago and Johnson fell out with producer Trevor Horn, who is organising the concert, over past money disputes. Apart from Johnson also guitarist Brian Nash said no, he will be replaced by the band's tour guitarist Jed O'Toole. Singer Paul Rutherford, bassist Mark O'Toole and drummer Peter 'Ped' Gill are now holding auditions at The Marquee to find a suitable replacement for Johnson or as they describe it: "new raw talent, girls or boys, young or old". The winner of these auditions will perform at the concert, in aid of the Prince's Trust. |

| A THOUGHT FOR MARC |
Marc Almond had been involved in collision between a car and a motorcycle near Cannon Street station in central London on Sunday afternoon 4 pm. Almond, 48, was thrown from the motorbike and suffered severe head injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. His condition had changed from 'critical' on Monday morning to 'critical but stable and improving' yesterday but he remains in intensive care. Almond was the passenger on the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries. The rider of the motorbike akso suffered severe injuries while no news was known about the cardriver. Almond is being treated at The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. His family requested that his privacy would be respected at this time but if you wish to send a message for Marc please use the following address: thinkingofyou@marcalmond.co.uk.
(update: 10/29): The management of Marc Almond has announced that Marc has been moved out of the intensive care unit because of the progress he has made so far. A spokeswoman for the singer said: "He still has a long way to go in his recovery and his family have asked that his privacy continue to be respected. At risk of repeating ourselves Marc's recovery is going to be a slow process." In the meantime Marc's family has asked not to send any flowers or gifts to the hospital. Anybody wishing to send something is advised to make a donation to the London's Air Ambulance. London's Air Ambulance is part of the emergency medical response service that attended to Marc. And although this service receives some Government funding and sponsorship, each year its charity arm has to fundraise to meet any shortfall for the costs of the service. Details for making donations can be found at www.londonairambulance.org. |

| CLIENT MODE |
'City' is the follow-up album to Client's self titled 2003 debut, and features collaborations with Pete Doherty and Carl Barat of The Libertines and Martin Gore of Depeche Mode. Continuing the evolution of their electroclash sound the 13-track album 'City' delivers Client's unique brand of stark and sexy electronica, firmly grounded in the classic song writing foundations of legends such as Joy Division, Kraftwerk and DAF. Recommended to all fans of Ladytron, The Libertines and Fischerspooner. In an interview on Side-Line magazine the band talks about the evolution of the band, what success nowdays means, how Martin Gore got involved in the project, why their remix of Erasure's 'Oh l'amour' was rejected and lots more... |

| MANSON MARRIES IN BERLIN? |
Marilyn Manson, real name Brian Warner, is planning to get married in Berlin. The news was announced by The Berliner Morgenpost. Still according to The Berliner Morgenpost Manson, 35, is currently looking for a castle where he and girlfriend Dita von Teese, 32, can get married. For your info, Von Teese is an ex- Playboy model, a professional nude model and underwear designer who once wrote a book teaching readers how to strip-tease. The wedding is scheduled for November when the singer will be in Berlin for a film shoot. Manson, a regular target for religious and conservative groups, also revealed he would like to have a church wedding, but apparently no german priest has been found willing to marry the odd couple.
In related Manson news, Chris Vrenna of Tweaker, (formerly of Nine Inch Nails), will be playing drums on the Against All Gods US tour dates filling in for Ginger Fish. The substitution came as a result of Ginger sustaining several injuries while performing at the VIVA Comet Awards in Germany including a fractured arm and a broken nose. Ginger is expected to make a full recovery within several weeks. |

| NUMAN BOOTLEGS |
In order to put a halt to bootlegged shows, Gary Numan has announced that plans are being made to film all future Numan gigs. The recordings will then be sold via the official website. These DVD 'bootleg' releases will be filmed with a minimum of three cameras, sometimes more, and sound will be recorded direct from the mixing desk. They will furthermore feature a small interview with Gary Numan, either before or after the gig. Prices for these releases will be kept low. In the meantime, Numan has cut ties with his former label Artful and has decided to start up a new record company rather than pursue the offers currently on the table from other existing labels. Numan: "To be quite honest I'm all worn out with being signed to record labels and feel that we can do just as well on our own as we can signed to someone else. Plus it frees us up to do many things that were impossible to do when I was signed, particularly in the DVD area". Numan's new label will be called Mortal Records. 'Jagged Halo' will be the first album from Numan to appear through Mortal Records. |

| ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER DOWNLOAD STORE |
| In a bold move to expand its role in the online music business, Yahoo! announced its $160-million purchase of Musicmatch, one of the few online music services with a large enough subscription base to give iTunes a run for its money. Yahoo! is also moving full steam ahead with the launch of its own music player later this year, creating a double-barreled strategy that could propel it to the top of the online music heap. |

Here they are! I've uploaded the photos I've made during the CoS concert. You can click on the image in the black column to open a new window where a Flash movie will be loaded. It's about 700Kb (there are 18 images) so you have to wait a little (look at the colored dots on bottom, when they're all visible the movie is loaded). Enjoy! |

| CHICKS ON STAGE |
Yesterday I've seen the Chicks (and their guest, Anat Ben-David) in Firenze. A very cool set! A great show! Now I'm thinking about a trip in NL to follow them in a date where also my adored Vive La Fête will play. :) There's only one bad thing about this concert: a very poor merchandising. I wanted to buy some CDs but no CoS CDs were available. So I've bought the Anat's... wanna know? I've paid 12 euros for a CD burned and printed at home...
Now I'm working on the photos I've made and I will upload them as soon as possibile... |
